Richard McGinley Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard McGinley (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Richard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Richard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack McGinley and Mona McGinley (Stilwell); his former wife Trudy; and his brother Greg (Ann). He is survived by: his siblings, John (Donna), Bert (Willa) and Susan Forsyth (Derrick); and his wife Caroline.
