He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Black and Lois Black (McConnell); his sister Kimberly; and his mother-in-law Margaret Gallagher. He is survived by: his wife Erin; his children, R. Benjamin, Gabriella of Quispamsis and Tessa of Quispamsis; his nieces, Molly and Anne Touchie; his uncles, David McConnell (Sandy) of Ashland, Mass., Norval McConnell (Nancy) of Moncton, NB and Dennis Black (Barb) of Port Alberni, BC; his aunt Katherine Paunins (Tim) of Moncton, NB; his father-in-law Patrick Gallagher of Rothesay, NB; and his siblings-in-law, Jamie (Mary Ann) of Rothesay, NB, Cyrilla (Francois) of Vero Beach and Shane of St. Martin's, NB.. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
