He was predeceased by: his mother Jane Morrison (Dixon). He is survived by: his father John Angus "Gus"; his children, Channer Morrison (Kirk) and Sarah O'Brien (Mike); his granddaughter Kylie; his brother Harvey Johnston (Carolyn); and his close friend Robert Van Der Linden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
