He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Owen and Davidina Owen; his sisters, Dawn Firlotte and Heather Owen; his brothers-in-law, Peter Foster and James Gault; his nephew Ryan Firlotte; and his niece Jodi Owen.

He is survived by: his siblings, Fay Owen, Denise Baker (Donnie), Terrie Gault, Darlene Owen (Jimmy), Lori Walton (Steve) and Richard Owen (Pattie); and his cousins, Jason Owen, Greg Owen, Tyson Owen and Robbie Owen. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
