He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Quinlan (Lyons) and George Quinlan; his wife Helen Quinlan (Crowley); and his siblings, John Quinlan, Mary Johnston, Evelyn Miller and Rita Craft.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Patrick Quinlan (Giselle) of Rothesay, Dr. Daniel Quinlan (Lynn), Joan McCracken (Ronald) of Saint John and Therese Quinlan of Saint John; his grandchildren, Christopher, Beth, Jessica, Karen, Stephen, Zachary, Jacob, Michael, Margaret, Jonathon, Sean and Neil; and his brothers-in-law, John Crowley (Ruth) of Ontario and Arthur Crowley (Doreen) of Saint John. He is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Castle Fallsview Funeral Home (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Assumption Parish (360 Dufferin Row, Saint John, NB E2M2J8). A reception was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Assumption Centre (721 Chapel St, Saint John, NB E2M2K3). A burial was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 from 1:10 PM to 1:25 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (1215 Sand Cove Rd, Saint John, NB E2M5V8).
Donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation, the Assumption Church Building Fund, Bobby's Hospice, or the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
