He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Brookins and Mildred Brookins; his wife Sarah; and his sisters, Connie and Katherine.
He is survived by: his children, Harold Leslie Brookins (Lois) of Musquash, Constance Pitre (Ernie) of Saint John and Susan Henderson (Greg) of Calgary; and his grandchildren, Lisa, Jonathan, Rebecca, Robert, Alexandria and Sarah. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
