He was predeceased by: his spouse Loraine E. Estey (McRae); his parents, Arthur Estey and Ensie Estey (Mills); his siblings, Gerald, Randolf, Glendon, Bernice Hanson and Joy; and his former wife Norma Kane.
He is survived by: his children, John Estey (Gordana) of Calgary, Alberta, Rosalyn Hyslop (Blair) of Quispamsis, NB, Lyndon McFate (Aimee) of Fairlee, Vermont, Brad McFate (Suzanne) of Moncton, NB, Lori Peacock of Hampton, NB, Malcolm McFate of Sussex, NB and Paul McFate (Linda) of Payson, Utah.; his grandchildren, Laura (Eric), Sarah (Colton), Andrew (Samantha), Jenna, Jamey (Rachel), Josie, Sean, Emma, Zella, Severin, Ross, Noah, Alexandria, Kayley and Katrina; and his great grandchildren, Kelsey, Adam, Gabriel, Ellie and Lance. He is also survived by brother and sister in-laws.
