He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon John and Mary Theresa McCann (Connolly); and his brother David G. C. McCann. He is survived by: his sister Linda Margaret Johnston (Wayne) of Saint John; his nephew Matthew Thomas Wayne Johnston; his niece Jennifer Lynn Johnston (Evan DeVault) of Victoria, BC; his sister-in-law Donna McCann; his nieces and nephews, Catherine, Maria, Danielle, John-Paul and Michael (Weronika); and his great-nieces, Olivia of London, ON, Clara of London, ON and Bernadette of London, ON.
