She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Verner and Edith Verner (Dickison); and her brothers, Kevin and Mickey. She is survived by: her significant other John Nelson; her daughters, Michelle Shaffer (Roy) and Dawn Hallett; her grandchildren, Ashley (Gaby), Amber (Geoff), Austin (Tara) and Aubrey; her great grandchildren, Avery, Pucyrus, Octavia, Nova, Lincoln and Hunter; and her sisters, Marilyn Verner (Bobby), Debbie Scopie (Rick), Darlene Verner and Kim Verner. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
