He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sr. and Grace; his wife Thelma (Fairweather McKenney); his sisters, Audrey Scott, Ruth Watts Kale and June Billingsley; his niece Marilyn Trott; and his grandson Gregory Stubbs.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Clayton (Ann) and Kim Stubbs (Tim Greer); his stepdaughter Heather Carroll (George); his friend Wendy Swinemar Wilkins; and his caregiver Gail Kilpatrick. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fundy Home Home (Fundy Chapel) (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Fundy Chapel (Fundy Funeral Home).
