She was predeceased by : her parents, Ruth McPherson and Bill McPherson; and her sister Carole King. She is survived by : her husband Jim; her son James (Joanne); her stepdaughter Jennifer Peterson (David); her grandchildren, Benjamin, Samuel and Sophie; and her sister Debra of Pocologan, N. B..

Donations can be made in Ruth's memory to the N.B. Alzheimer's Society.
