She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Adams (Galbraith) and Charles Adams; her son-in-law Kenneth; her siblings, Jean Butler (late Buddy), Cledith Woodman (late Tom) and Glendon (late Adrianne); and also Arthur.

She is survived by: her daughter Diane Simpson of Halifax; her grandsons, Adam Simpson (Warren Jardine) of Halifax and Alex Simpson (Cait); her great grandchild Madeline; and her siblings, Bruce (Brenda), Charles (late Shirley) and Mert Long (late Bill). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
