She is survived by: her daughter Katherine Fitzgerald (Kay); her son-in-law Clark; her grandchildren, Peter Fitzgerald (Trisha) and Angela Langille (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Cole, Luke Fitzgerald and Sophie Langille. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Remembrances in memory of Ruth may be made to St Mary St Bartholomew Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
