It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Richardson (Saint John, New Brunswick), born in Maces Bay, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mawhinney and Annie Mawhinney; her siblings, Elsie Shanks, Robert, Ralph and Milford; her sisters-in-law, Irene Mawhinney and Eleanor Richardson; and her son-in-law Kerry McLellan.

She is survived by: her spouse Fraser George Richardson; her children, Kevin (Kimberly) and Kelly McLellan; her grandsons, Nathaniel (Roebi), Isaac and Ethan McLellan; and her siblings-in-law, David Richardson (Glenna), Harold Shanks and Inez Mawhinney.

Remembrance in memory of Ruth can be made to Forest Hills Baptist Church or the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
