She was predeceased by: her parents, James Steen and Jean Steen; her husband Douglas Whelpley; her siblings, Ken Steen and Linda Black; her son-in-law Bryan DeLucry; and her brothers-in-law, George James, Harold Whelpley and Al Blackburn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly DeLucry (Philip) and Kandace Palmer (Tony); her grandchildren, Devin Wright and Matthew DeLucry; her great grandchild Kaitlyn Robichaud; her siblings, Irene James and Bill Fulton (Aurela); her sisters-in-law, Colleen Steen and Pegi Blackburn; and her grandsons, Jaden Sabarots and Kyle Forsythe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Castle Fallsview Funeral Home (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Castle "fallsview" Chapel (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3).
