It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sadie Zed (Saint John, New Brunswick), born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Zed Sr.; her parents, Peter Joseph and Mary Joseph (Jacobs); her son Ronald Zed Jr.; and her siblings, Lillian, Victoria, Joe, George, David and Jacob.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Peter Zed (Stacey) of Vancouver, Derek (Debbie) of Miramichi and Joanne Zed-Murphy (Carl) of Halifax; her daughter-in-law Priscilla Zed; and her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Isaac Zed of Vancouver, Ryan and Jillian Murphy of Halifax.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424), Due to the ongoing pandemic, there will be no visitation and a private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sadie's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or the Rocmaura Nursing Home Foundation.
