Selena Kathleen Gillies Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Selena Kathleen Gillies in Saint John, New Brunswick, born in St Stephen, New Brunswick, who passed away on November 18, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James R Gillies; her parents, Captain Hugh G McMurtry and Viola P D'Arcy (McMurtry) of Nova Scotia; her sisters, Marjorie Westhaver (late Eugene), Ottawa and Ruth Stevens (late Perley); and her great grandchild Bridget Gillies Mott.

She is survived by: her children, Peter Gillies (Greer Stackhouse) and Susan G Wallace (Michael) of Saint John; and her grandchildren, Jesse Gillies, Gray Gillies Mott (Matthew Mott), Emma Gillies (Steven Suntres) and Hannah Wallace (Jordan Wight). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
