She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Young and Corinne Young (Hamilton); her brother Thomas; her sister-in-law Helen Young (O'Donnell); her siblings, Robert Young and Joy McAllister (Mackie); and her nephew Thomas Young.
She is survived by: her niece Donna James; her great-nephew Andrew James; her nephew Gary Young (Lynn); and her close friends, Pam Johnston, Wade Saunders and Chloe.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church (360 Dufferin Row, Saint John, NB E2M2J8). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (1215 Sand Cove Rd, Saint John, NB E2M5V8).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Assumption Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
