She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Kilpatrick and Freda Kilpatrick (Provan); her former husband Harold Smith; her husband Ernest Tays; her children, Eldon Smith and Karla Tays; and her sister Doreen Smith.
She is survived by: her sister Pauline Haslett (Bill) of Saint John; her daughter-in-law Gail Dupuis (Normand) of Saint John; her grandchildren, Laura Biggs (Christopher) and Geoffrey Smith; and her great grandchild Ella. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
