It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Blakney (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on January 21, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his daughters, Cheryll Anne Blakney (Shawn Votour) of Saint John, NB, Tanya Elizabeth Blakney of Calgary, AB and Kayla Leanne Blakney of Pickle Lake, ON; his grandson Brandon Fowler of Saint John, NB.; and his siblings, Malcolm Blakney (Helen), Betty Nickerson, Helen Hutchison, Jack Blakney and Brenda Blakney. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Due to these uncertain times and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a private family service will be held at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by his family.
