She was predeceased by: her parents, Adril Watson and Mary Johnston; her husband Garth Rigby Black; her sons, L. Dick and Donald Garth; and her siblings, George Watson, Gordon Watson, Elvia MacLean, Arthur Watson, Frances Watson, Adrian Watson, Cedric Watson, Betsy Thompkins and Donald Watson.
She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Thompson; her grandchildren, Gareth and Jennifer; and her brother Ellis Watson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
