She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford; her son Ian; and her siblings, Donald Melvin, Dorothy Forret, Constance Hopey, Audrey Taylor, Elizabeth Craig and June Martin.

She is survived by: her children, David (Susan), Donald (Connie), Robert (Marilyn), James (Nancy), Richard (Marie), Michael (Doreen), Scott (Sherry), Jeffrey (Paulette), Cathy Gillcrist (Stanley) and Janet Crook (Michael); her daughter-in-law Linda MacDonald; her brother Ronald Melvin; and her sister-in-law Margaret Melvin. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
