He was predeceased by : his parents, Vaughn Robin and Mary Lorinda Murphy (Clarkson); his brothers, Gerald and Robert; and his stepson Bruce.

He is survived by : his children, Andrew, Paul, Lorinda (Nicky), Kim and Valerie; his granddaughter Tarina Arnold; his sisters, June Foster and Elaine Andrews (George); and his sister-in-law Gladys Murphy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
