He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Barrett and Alice Beulah Barrett (Campbell); his brother Michael; and his pet Ringo. He is survived by: his children, Brittany Bulmer (Nathan) of Quispamsis and Mark Barrett (Rebecca) of Saint John; his grandchildren, Averie Bulmer, Alaina Bulmer and Michael Barrett; his great grandchild Lola Maye; and his siblings, Ed Barrett (Donna), Phillip Barrett (Joyce), David Barrett (Martyne) and Sharon Barrett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mission Point Church (130 Mark Dr, Saint John, NB E2J4H5).
