He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Michael and Sarah "Marie" Agnes Shea (Breen); his brother Danny Shea (Paula); and his brother-in-law Don Mercer. He is survived by: his former wife Catherine "Casey" Shea (Burns); his daughters, Connie Shea, Katie McRae (Paul) and Carrie Shea; his grandson Bailey Leavitt; his wife Jean Osborne Shea; his stepsons, John Osborne of British Columbia, Scott Osborne (Jennifer) of Shelbourne and Mark Osborne (Shannon) of Quispamsis; his stepgrandchildren, Meaghan, Josh, Evan, Elena, Lake and Van; and his siblings, Paul Shea (Mary), Dawn Shea of Saint John and Pat Roy (Ivan) of Saint John. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, as well as sisters and brothers-in-laws.
