He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald David and Mildred Osborne Patterson (Chase). He is survived by: his wife Carol (Kilpatrick); his brothers, Douglas and Donald Patterson; his cousin Ceretha Karolyi (Don); his children, Leslie (Mike Hussey), Lisa Khanna (Rajesh), Jeffrey (Joyce Law), Jennifer Chamberlain (Wayne), Heather Gresh (Nicholas) and Andrea (JD Lejeune); his grandchildren, Julia, Alex, Adam, Olivia, Owen, Jack, Mackenzie, Brooklynn, Jasmine and Henry; and his nieces and nephews, Debbie Merritt, Laurel Penney, Reggie and Richard Merritt.

Guests are asked to enter the building through the courtyard entrance, where staff will greet and assist you with COVID-19 protocol.

Donations may be made to the YMCA, Salvation Army, United Way or a charity of the donor's choice.
