He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas DeBow and Ethel DeBow; his son Robert "Bob"; his son-in-law Gordon Reid; and his siblings, Doug, Pearl McKay, Betty, Shirley McGovern and Patsy Williston.
He is survived by: his children, Dan (Barb) and Brenda Reid; his grandchildren, Caissie Reid, Emilie Reid and Jakob DeBow; and his sisters, Norma Richardson and Ann Hughes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
