He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Dixon and Ursula Dixon (Grosser). He is survived by: his wife Masayo Ida; his stepdaughter Saori Kamegai; his stepgrandchildren, Takeru Kamegai, Yoshito Kamegai and Misato Kamegai; and his stepson Yuya Ida of Japan. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
