It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Poirier of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 5, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Poirier and Jeannita Poirier (Goguen); and his siblings, Denise Vautour, Sammy, Elmo and Gérard.

He is survived by : his wife Rose-May Poirier; his daughters, Diane Taylor (Jeff) of Saint-Louis and Lisa Johnson (Bob) of St. Ignace; his grandchildren, Sean, Robin, Isabel and Rémi; his siblings, Rose Robichaud (Paul) of Moncton, Yvette Robichaud (Albé) of Dieppe, Lilianne Blanchard (Yvon) of St. Antoine, Marion Blanchard (Josephat) of Dieppe and Bernard (Brenda) of Shediac; and his siblings-in-law, Petra-Ann Poirier of Hamilton, ON, Flavie Poirier of Saint-Louis, Jeannine Poirier of Shediac and Bernard of St. Charles. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, a maximum of 50 people at a time are allowed in the funeral home and the family asks that this visitation and funeral be kept to family members and friends to avoid overcrowding. Masks are mandatory and we ask that social distancing be respected.
