It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bernice Cormier of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, New Brunswick, who passed away at the age of 96, on December 9, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Cassie and Eugenie Cormier; her husband Eric Cormier; and her son Edward. She is survived by: her children, Réjeanne Thibodeau (Fidele) of Richibouctou-Village, Anne-Marie Crookes (late Douglas) of Winnipeg, Simonne Babineau (Joseph) of Richibouctou-Village, Cécile Jaillet (late Yvon) of Cote-Ste, Ginette Cormier of Richibouctou-Village, Murielle Cormier (Joseph) of Richibouctou-Village and Benoit Cormier (Lisa) of Richibouctou-Village; her siblings, Eugenie Leger (late Emery) of Barachois, Emerise Gaudet (late Edgar) of Barachois, Emerie Caissie (Corine) of Sainte-Anne and Jean-Baptiste Caissie (Yvonne) of Richibouctou-Village; her grandchildren, Anise, Jacinthe, Roxanne, Annick, Omer, Eric, Susan, Mireille, Jean-Francis, Sylvie and Ronald; her great grandchildren, Julien, Josée, Mikel, Janelle, Gabriel, Emma, Liam, Christian and Julie; and her great great grandchildren, Brody and Malcom. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and life-long friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Slumber Room in Richibouctou-Village. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Antoine-De-Padoue Roman Catholic Church.
