He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Edgar and Hazel Edgar (Sherwood); his siblings, Emily Horsman, Marlene Gillcash, Charlie, Clarence, Renwick and Eldon Edgar; his granddaughter Tori Ann; and his great grandchild Eva Leslie.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Edgar (Jones); his children, Lawrence, Karl (Barb), Robert (Brenda) and Elsie (Ian); his grandchildren, Chris, Jeremy, Jennie, Alex, Ashton, Shawn (Megan), Kyle (Angel), Kody (Roxanne), Wendy (Shawn), Kimberly (Doug) and Ann (Chris); his great grandchildren, Grace, William, Amy, Marshall, Sarah, Adam, Skylar, Christopher Jr., Aleah, Alydia, Emersynn, Brynlee, Wrenn, Zora and Dominic; and his sister Phyllis Gillcash.
