He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Kay and Annie Shand Lochead Kay (Nancy); his daughter Kimberley Kay (Kurt McAllister); and his sister Edith Dunn. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Kay (Sparks); his daughters, Dawn O'Hearn (Kerry) of Lake Echo, NS and Dallas Daigle (Edgar) of Miramichi; his stepchildren, Jana Gauthier (Danny Marryatt) of Halifax and Jason Gauthier (Natalie) of Victoria, B. C.; his grandchildren, Courtney, Ryan and Spencer; his stepgrandson Brodie O'Neil; and his sister Gertrude McHugh.
