He was predeceased by : his parents, Vaughan Black and Amy Black (Paterson); and his siblings, Wendall Black (Janet), Norma Ross (Doug) and Velma Black.

He is survived by : his wife Sandra Black; his children, Trudy Jameson (Courtenay) and Damon Black (Brandy Dunn) of Salisbury; his sisters, Gwendolyn Keith (late Harley) of Salisbury, Marie Keith (late Walton) of Havelock, Myrna MacLeod (Stuart) of Havelock, Beatrice Scribner (Clifford) of Salisbury, Alta Tait (Robert) of Sussex and Clara Boyd (Ronald) of Long Creek; his stepsons, Sean Morton (Cathy), Troy Morton, Ross Morton (Krista Bennett) and Richard Morton; his grandchildren, Garrett, Brookelyn, Shae Lee, Nhyia and Halle; the mother of his children Kathleen Giles; and his close friend Tess. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Covid-19 restrictions in place.
