He was predeceased by : his brother-in-law Ray Chase. He is survived by : his wife Janice Smyth (Egers); his sons, Ian (Hetty) and Ryan (Monique); his grandchildren, Isaline, Ellie, Zoë, Owen, Brody, Sophia and Alexander; and his siblings, Dianne Smyth (Chase) of Chipman, NB, Linda Duffy (Robert) of Puslinch, ON, Wanda Smyth of Moncton, NB, Brian Smyth of Georgetown, ON and Robert Smyth (Paulette) of Stroud, ON.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; as well as his close friends and former co-workers.
