She was predeceased by : her parents, Jean-Baptiste Richard and Eveline Richard (Thébeau); and her brother Sylvain. She is survived by : her daughters, Chantal Laporte (Jeremy), Abbotsford and Tania George; her grandchildren, Ada, Sadie, Brittanie, Maurice, Shawna, Jessika and Anabelle; her great grandchildren, Lilly and Ella; her siblings, Exilda Cormier (Alfred), Annette Poirier (Réal), Anne-Marie Richard (Gilbert), Angèle Pollock (Bruce), Emile (Lydia), Saint, Jean-Paul (Claira) and Eloi; her foster sisters, Diane Duplessis, Sandra Richard, Claudette Richard and Hélène Hachey; and the father of her children Percy George. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Due to the current pandemic, funeral mass will be held in Acadieville at a later date.
