He was predeceased by : his parents, Patrick Howard and Joanna Howard (Hogan). He is survived by : his wife Peggy (Wood); and his children, Lynne Hayden (Randy), Mike Howard (Tina) and Paul Howard (Lynn). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Due to the current pandemic and in respect of the family's wishes, no visitation or funeral service.

“I was sad to hear of Ray's passing. I had the pleasure and privilege to work under Ray's supervision for almost 10 years at U.A.B. in Moncton. He was a gentlemen and a good friend. He always spoke highly of his family and his lovely wife Peggy. Lynn and I would like to express our condolences in these difficult times.Lynn and Mike Roy.”
