With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Elizabeth Bateman of Shediac Cape, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Murray and Jessie (Stright); her spouse Nowell Hubert (Bert); her son Stanley Robert; and her sisters, Sylvia Anne Mollins and Muriel Connors.
She is survived by: her children, Murray Bateman (Carol) of Wasaga Beach, ON, Carolyn VanBuskirk (Chris) of Moncton and Jeffrey Bateman (Erika) of Pointe-Claire, QC.; her grandchildren, Thomas (Katie), Colleen (Andrew), Samuel, Kelly, Isabelle (Logan), Gregory, Marika and Willa; and her great grandchildren, Iris, Violet (Thomas) and Grace (Isabelle).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Stanley R. Bateman Memorial Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice.
