He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob O'Brien and Eva O'Brien (LeBlanc); and his brothers, Claude and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Raija (Rantala); his sons, Randy (Jariya) and Chris (Isabelle); his siblings, Emile (Yvette) of Shediac and Marie Auffrey of Dieppe; and his grandchildren, Zoe and Kyana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Frenette Funeral Centre (396 Main St, Shediac, NB E4P2G1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Frenette Funeral Centre (396 Main St, Shediac, NB E4P2G1).
