He was predeceased by: his parents, Fidèle and Béatrice "Bella" (Arsenault); his brother Yvon; and his stepson Danny. He is survived by: his wife Rosella Cormier of Sainte-Marie; his children, Annette Gallagher (John) of Lunenburg, MA, Rachel Poli (Chris) of Walpole, MA and Mark Richard of Sudbury, MA; his sisters, Jeanne Richard (Éloi) of Galloway, NB, Lena Dumoulin (late Aimé) of Medicine Hat, AB, Cécile Doucette (late Médric) of Fitchburg, MA and Claire Melanson (Joe) of Naples, FL; his grandchildren, Shannon, Kelly, Kyle, Casey, Tanner and Hunter; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Emerson and Wesley; his stepsons, Jacky of Cap-Pelé, Gary of Grand-Barachois and Wayne of Shediac; his stepgrandchildren, Jessica, Randy, Patrick, Shawn, Jamie, Francesca, Gianni and Antonio; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Zoë, Lilly, Jacob and Nicholas.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Frenette Funeral Centre (396 Main St, Shediac, NB E4P2G1). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Frenette Funeral Centre (396 Main St, Shediac, NB E4P2G1).
In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to a charity of choice.
