She was predeceased by: her parents, Désiré and Rita (Bourque); her husband Hervé Fontaine; and her siblings, Claudette Dallaire (Laurie), Marie-Thérèse Pelletier (Ronald) and Danny Boucher (Jeannine).
She is survived by: her children, Michel Fontaine (Beth) of Moncton and Gisèle Caissie (Fernand) of Cap; her grandchildren, Patrick (Emma), Denys, Natasha (Gabriel), Marius (Karine) and Maxime (Rebecca); her great grandchildren, Cédric and Léah; and her siblings, Jeannine Vienneau (late Denis) of Shediac, Dorine Cormier (Edgar) of Saint-Paul, Simone Arsenault (Donald) of Saint-Antoine, Francine Boucher (Tom) of Shediac River, Denise Boucher-Maury (Serge) of Saint-Édouard, Nicole Léger (Adrien) of Shediac River, Léonard (Linda) of North Port, FL, Bernard of Shediac River and Charles (Jeannette) of Shediac River. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre (396 Main St, Shediac, NB E4P2G1). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In memory of Hélène, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
