He was predeceased by: his parents, Frédéric "Fred" Caissie and Colette Caissie (Goguen); and his siblings, Edgar, Lionel, Freda Goguen, Dora Cormier, Eva Léger and Rita Hébert-Hoffman.

He is survived by: his wife Lena Caissie (Pellerin); his children, Linda Caissie of Shediac, Jocelyne Caissie of Shediac, Margo Caissie (Jack Boudreau) of Shediac, Liane Jessome (Ronnie) of Shediac and Michael (Jacqueline) of Irishtown; and his brothers, Raymond of Ontario, Gerry (Audrey) of Ontario, Yvon (Barb) of Ontario, John (Karen) of Ontario, Paul of Moncton and Donald (Thelma) of British Columbia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
