He was predeceased by: his parents, Philippe Bourque and Irène Bourque; and his siblings, Robert, Émile, Justine, Vitaline, Adéline and Claire.

He is survived by: his wife Lilianne Bourque of Shediac; his children, Claudette Searle (Mark) of Mississauga, ON, Brenda of Shediac, Ronald of Creston, BC and Brian (Carole) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; his siblings, Clarence (Marguerite) of Shediac, Philippe Jr. (Gloria) of Shemogue, Simon of Grand-Barachois, Éloie (Sara) of Shemogue, Guy of Shemogue, Juliette Lirette (late Gérard) of Kitchener, ON, Yvonne Lemieux (Gérald) of Sherbrooke, QC and Valerice LeBlanc (Arcade) of Shemogue; and his grandchildren, Aubrey, Jesse, Kristina, Emily and Nessa. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
