He was predeceased by: his parents, Philias Lirette and Martha Lirette (Lirette); his wife Shirley Simpson; his siblings, Maria, Rita, Céleste, Léontine and Francis; and his stepson Brian Simpson (Corinne) of Moncton.
He is survived by: his siblings, Albertine Beers (Tim), Lucille Cormier (Paul), Murielle Lirette (Marc), Florence Lirette, Roger (Rosemarie) and Arsène; and his stepgranddaughter Shawna Simpson of Moncton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
