She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil E. Steeves and Rosa Mae Steeves (Surette); her husband Floyd Shaffer; her daughter Carol; her grandson Jeremy; her siblings, Earl, Roy, Daisy, Marilyn, Doris and Grace; and her siblings-in-law, Ronald, George, Reginald, Alphonse, Wallace "Wiggie" (Marina), Fletcher, Carvel (Joan), Gertie Sargent (Pat) and Irene.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Shaffer of Riverview, Debbie Rossiter of Shenstone and Maxine Siddall (Gary) of Shenstone; her grandchildren, Julie, Josh, Tasha (Neil), Tabitha and Trevor; her siblings, Willard Steeves (Linda) of Elgin, Donnie Steeves (Heather) of Parkindale, Paul Steeves of Murray Corner and Joan Douthwright of Collier Mountain; her sister-in-law Imelda Shaffer of Riverview; and her caregiver Holly. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
