He was predeceased by: his parents, John MacDonald and Rena MacDonald (Stewart); and his siblings, Helen, Irene, Doris, Edna, Ralph, Frank, Leonard, Jackie, Bernie, Joe, Bervel and Angus.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Carlyn MacDonald of Sillikers; and his brother Harry MacDonald (Heather) of Miramichi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
