He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Shaw and Vera Shaw; his son Danny; and his siblings, Winnie Purcell, Gerald Shaw, Harold Shaw and Nadine Graham.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Shaw (Giberson); his children, Valerie Slipp of Waterville, Patty Gaunce (Jeff) of Florenceville-Bristol, Cecil Shaw (Laurea) of Simonds, Susan Shaw of Fredericton and Rodney Shaw (Sabrina) of Simonds; his grandchildren, Anne Chaisson (Matthew), Emma Poliquin (Justin), Frank Slipp (Dafne), Crystal Kent (Thomas), Damon Gaunce (Sheena), Kathleen Patterson (Ted), Graham Shaw, Katrina Barteski (Bradley), Kaylyn Shaw (Pierce McAllister), Daniel Shaw, Caleb Shaw, Matthew Swim (Christin), Luke Swim (Jenny), Carissa Forbes (Brent), Isaiah Shaw and Ashley Shaw; his siblings, Cecil B Shaw (Shirley) and Amy Littlejohn (Robert); and his sisters-in-law, Thelma Billings, Francis Avery and Mary Trecartin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
