He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Lawson and Gertrude Lawson (Watson); his siblings, Murray Lawson and Lois Ann Lawson; his siblings-in-law, Dr. John Likely, Roy Cunningham, Wayne Kitchen, Judy Lawson, Marion Lawson, Mary Lawson, Helen Lawson and Dorinne Bell; and his nephew Corry Sewell.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Lawson (Bell); his children, Dorine Dennique (Richard), Richard Lawson (Patti), Dennis Lawson and Karan Burgher (Dean); his grandchildren, Jennifer (John), Joey (Sandra), Erin (Kyle), Brett (Stephanie), Christina and Tim; his great grandchildren, Alysa, Zack, Evan, Michael, Ryan, Ellie, Kylie, Chloe, Zoey and Alexis; and his siblings, Willard Lawson, Joyce Sewell (Ralph), Carole Likely, Frank Lawson, Winston Lawson and Lloyd Lawson (Wilma).
