He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur McCashion and Margaret McCashion (McCaughey); and his siblings, Patrick, John, Tom, Margaret-Ann and Agnes.
He is survived by: his siblings, Edward McCashion of Fredericton, NB and Mary Sveinson (Ronald) of Surrey, BC; his siblings' children, Jason Sveinson, Kristy Sveinson, Dawn McCashion Walsh (Roy), Lisa McCashion Ervin (Bill), Eddie McCashion (Michele), David McCashion (Carla) and Matthew McCashion (Angie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Justine Ervin, Trevor Ervin (Sarah), Jonathan Walsh, Nathan Walsh (Rebecca), Jason Walsh (Zoe), Melissa Barton (Brandon), Sean McCashion (Maythanya), Ryan McCashion (Melanie), Evan McCashion, Katelyn McCashion and Eric McCashion; and also, Ivy Ervin, Natalie Barton, Avery Ervin and Luke Barton.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the St. Patrick's Cemetery fund (cheques made to Saint Kateri Tekeawitha Parish).
