He was predeceased by : his parents, Lambert Saunders and Ruth Saunders (Connelly); his former life partner Faye Isabel Saunders (MacTavish); and his brother Emery Saunders. He is survived by : his wife Michele Saunders of South Nelson; his children, Christopher Saunders of McKinleyville, Bradley Saunders (Julie) of Bathurst and Jodi Saunders-Colford (Chris) of Salisbury; his stepsons, Micheal Roy of Miramichi and Kyle Roy (Rebecca) of Miramichi; his grandchildren, Khrislyn, Anastasia, Abigail, Hunter, Kyliee and Ryker; his siblings, Judy Arsenault of Nova Scotia, Joseph (Deanna) of Chelmsford, Odell (Cindy) of Chatham Head and Lambert (Joanne) of Miramichi; his niece Donna; and his nephew Michael. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews, and extended family.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to a memorial of one's choice.
