He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hasson and Ella Hasson (Pollock); his brothers, Russell (late Thelma), Kenneth (late Tina) and Douglas; and his parents-in-law, Jim and Georgie Boyle.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Hasson (Boyle); his son Jimmie (Brittney); his granddaughters, Liliana and Jaymee (Blake); his close friend Mark Pridham (Kelly); his siblings, Allison Hasson (Marilyn), Mary Craft (John) and Lynwood Hasson; his sister-in-law Jane MacDonald (late Gerald); and his close friend Molly. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
